Recap: New York Bridal Fashion Week 2017

by

Well, it’s that time of year again. The fashion world has opened its doors and presented to us the latest designs from bridal designers across the globe. This year’s fashion have brought Parisian perfection and a hint of old world glamour; does it get any better than that? And while many of the designs still follow the current trend of sleek and sexy, we are seeing a little bit more modesty this year. Is the bridal world slowly but surely falling out of love with the bohemian babe? Only time will tell but until then, here are just a few of the designs, for spring 2018, that have stolen our hearts and are still making us blush!

Berta Bridal
Berta, with its sheer materials and sex appeal is a company favorite! Although many designers deliver on the idea of the free and slim silhouette, Berta’s work stands out the most and is always easily spotted as its style has remained consistent and striking through the seasons.

Reem Acra

Reem Acra celebrated its 20th Anniversary this year and partnered with Tiffany’s & Co. to produce and display their collection. The result is aweing.

Viktor & Rolf
This season, Viktor delivered a collection with endless amount of chic and elegance. Gowns with billowing skirts, smooth, and seamless V&R’s classic and glamorous style will not be easily forgotten.

Justin Alexander
Black is the new accessory this season and JA shows just that with that pops of color in his line this season. The effect is perfect to showcase that bride with a flair for the dramatic!
